The Crowley Family
Will and Angel Crowley realized independently that they could be great without God. When they were first married, Will and Angel were religious, and Will was even serving as a youth leader in their church. But as he became exposed to more evidence that contradicted his religious beliefs, Will realized that he was an atheist.
For a long time, Angel didn’t agree, but she supported Will in his journey and even was willing to spend time with the atheists that he got to know within the DFWCoR. Eventually, Angel began to study the evidences for herself, and came to be an atheist on her own. Their daughter, Ella, sometimes says that she’s an atheist, and sometimes says that she’s religious. No matter what Ella says, Will and Angel tell her that they’ll love her and will let her make up her own mind. Their religious extended family makes it challenging sometimes, and Ella is still afraid that her grandmother will find out that she’s questioning religion. But being around other freethinkers in the DFWCoR has made things a lot easier for everyone.
